how to grow your social media account
literally
Focus on these areas during your content creation process and continue to build on top of them, at least that’s what I did…
When you make content that gives the best experience for the average viewers then your account will naturally grow because the associations with your page leave the viewers satisfied and want more of it.
Focus on the content itself instead of trying to script the perfect hook or upgrading the camera gear. Learn how to satisfy the average viewer and create content that will gravitate towards the algorithm, no matter the niche.
Optimizing
Pacing
the amount of time you give the viewers to conceptualize what they just seen (don’t take too long but don’t make it too short
Filtering
how you filter yourself in front of the camera depending on the feeling you want to give the viewer. you will always filter yourself depending on the situation or environment but few understand how to do this in front of the camera. how you filter yourself handling the camera (quality and it's composition like the way it's filmed and what it's capturing) and the way your filter the editing process to showcase the information (visually and with sounds)
Filter yourself less if you want to establish some connection with the viewers and make your content feel more authentic
Filter yourself more if your trying to perform a skit or a script to be more entertaining or education
Filter the camera quality and movements depending on the feeling
Filter the editing process to include supporting information to help the viewer understand the idea of the video
Hook
There should always be movement within your hook. It could be subtle body movements, the camera moving, an object, or the words being said give the video momentum by giving the viewer an idea of what the video will be about.
Structure
Hook
needs to introduce at least one out of the three
idea
character (you or anybody that might play a meaningful role in our video)
subject (objects that might be apart of the video idea)
should be around 3 seconds long and including movement
Body
supporting sounds and imagery (information) that builds on top of the hook
a release of information every 1 -3 seconds that reveals more information about the video idea
Conclusion
bring clarity/a good outcome/ a resolution to conflict
wrap up the video
The Viewers Experience
The PCM method
Include one of the three personality types into our video (try to include all three if possible)
Thinker - well organized information (simple and easy to understand shots or edit) nothing to overwhelming or over edited, maintain consistent narrative and supporting information visually that makes sense with the idea of the video
Rebel - spontaneous moment that could be anything fun that's captured or inject while editing. Pattern interrupts where the video takes a unique turn and breaks the viewers expectations or fun music that makes you want to dance but match the feeling visually. High energy!
Harmonizer - heart felt moments, the moments that capture real life human experiences that everyone could relate to. Down to earth feeling and moments of vulnerability.
